JejeBrand ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it. It applies to all users of the Platform.

  • Account data: name, email address, phone number, and account type (brand or creator).
  • Identity and payment data: Mobile Money wallet identifiers and verification documents required for payouts.
  • Campaign data: briefs, submitted content, approval decisions, and transaction records.
  • Social media data: public profile metrics and engagement data from connected social accounts, collected via official platform APIs.
  • Usage data: log data, device information, and interaction events within the Platform.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To operate and improve the Platform.
  • To process campaign funding, escrow, and payouts.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, including fake engagement.
  • To match brands with creators using our AI recommendation system.
  • To communicate service updates, security notices, and support responses.
  • To comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to deliver the services you sign up for); legitimate interests (fraud prevention, platform security, product improvement); compliance with a legal obligation; and, where required, your consent.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: payment processors and Mobile Money providers necessary to complete transactions; cloud infrastructure providers under data processing agreements; analytics and observability vendors used to operate the Platform; and law enforcement or regulatory authorities where required by law. All third-party processors are bound by appropriate data protection agreements.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and transaction records for a minimum of 7 years to satisfy financial and tax obligations. Usage and log data is retained for up to 90 days. You may request deletion of your account at any time; financial records required by law will be retained for the mandatory period.

7. Security

We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest for sensitive data. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis. We conduct periodic security reviews and promptly address identified vulnerabilities.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
